The Foundation's efforts to promote emotional healing and well-being for all are captured in a 2.5-minute video on its YouTube Channel.
The Foundation hosted a well-attended community event at the 2018 IFS Conference, which was held in early November in the U.S. (Providence, Rhode Island).
The event opened with a brief introduction by Board Member and Event Chair, Pamela Krause, MSW, LCSW, followed by one-word greetings from all board members (their favorite “Self-C” word), and a presentation by Vice Chair Frank Anderson, MD, with an update on research and the planned global Take5 Media Campaign. Participants then visited the four stations on research, advocacy, education, and community connections, and engaged in vigorous conversations with board members and staff about ways to advance the shared vision of promoting Self-discovery and the Self leadership model.
Qualities of Self-leadership are now displayed in an aesthetically pleasing design on greeting cards, posters, and mugs. These products were designed to promote the power and promise of inner wisdom.
They make for good gifts, pretty reminders, or inspirational conversation starters.
They are available for purchase from the IFS store; under the Tools tab.
The Foundation is pleased to announce the arrival of the November 2018 (and eighth) edition of OUTLOOK.
Read about how the Foundation and its Swiss partner, Education 4 Peace, are joining hands with Pixar Animation Studios for a global campaign to promote emotional health and well-being; how teachers’ own emotional awareness and learning can help students build resilience over time; and how through parts work bridges may be built between parents and children for better parenting relationships.
Other community updates include IFS-inspired courageous conversations by a radio host; the completion of the study on IFS as a treatment for Complex Trauma; and life-changing stories through the IFS lens.
