A brief communiqué from your Foundation for Self Leadership

That we each harness the wisdom to lead life effectively, whatever comes our way...
This is the promise and power of outcome to reach together.

Expanding our Circle
There was again this year a celebratory atmosphere at the well-attended Foundation Friday evening reception and gallery walk (2019 IFS Conference in Denver). Members of the Board and staff shared new developments and engaged in vigorous conversations relating to IFS research, IFS in schools, and IFS advocacy.

Dozens of participants and volunteers, new to the Foundation's circle, were actively involved, giving the memorable evening special feelings of connection and warmth.

The IFS-inspired "Good Grief" theatrical dance show by Everett, featuring personal parts-stories, was also a hit! The Foundation was pleased to sponsor the show, made possible through external funding from the New England Foundation for the Arts and other new donors who provided designated support.

The 10th issue of OUTLOOK, with its special Stories of Transformation insert, was unveiled at the conference during the morning plenary, in which the Foundation's Executive Director placed the work of the Foundation in the context of our challenging times. He stated that the Foundation will remain focused on "enhancing the IFS Model’s scientific credibility, academic visibility, accessibility among underserved communities, and applicability across more and more professions and walks of life."
