A Self-Leadership-Oriented Book for Educators Published

The Foundation for Self Leadership is pleased to announce that The Self-Led Educator, a new book by Joanna Curry-Sartori, LMFT, is being published and now available for presales.

In six highly informative, engaging chapters, this book introduces the IFS-inspired approach that Joanna developed, referred to as P.A.U.S.E. Facing the Moment: Insights & Action for Times of Crisis

Hosted by Toufic Hakim, PhD | A Podcast by the Foundation for Self Leadership

The Foundation for Self Leadership is announcing the launch of a new podcast series, "Facing the Moment." In an era when crises—personal, societal, global—seem ever-present, how do we show up as individuals or groups to navigate ambiguity and a disconcerting sense of imbalance or loss? How might courage and humility, compassion and open-mindedness be cultivated?

This compelling new podcast series, centered around insights and actions inspired by the IFS paradigm, explores how we might meet moments of crisis—with grit, grace, and the collective strength of community. Hosted by Toufic Hakim, PhD, the Foundation's Executive Director, each episode dives into a specific challenge of our time, offering grounded insights and thoughtful dialogue on how to move forward when it feels like the systems around us (and perhaps within us) are strained or breaking.

Various thought leaders, practitioners, and changemakers from diverse walks of life will help unpack complex issues and share personal experiences, practical tools, and pathways to healing. These intimate, honest conversations will explore how personal healing intersects with collective change; how to interpret the landscape and one's place in it, placing it all in perspective; how to show up with integrity and fortitude; and what possible action could be taken to help shift one's impulsive reactivity to a more appropriate—and perhaps effectively measured—response.

Listeners from all personal and professional backgrounds and interests may find valuable tidbits through these episodes. Consider joining in and becoming part of a growing community committed to navigating life's challenges with intention and hope.
